There’s still time to Give Hope

Imagine what would happen if all 5 million Christians who attend our local churches joined us by giving £20. It would change everything.

Your gifts are already making a difference to the church projects we’re supporting

With your help local churches can transform our communities with the hope of Jesus.

The pandemic has taken a heavy toll on communities across the UK. But, wherever the pandemic has hit the hardest, local churches have been right there on the frontline, stepping up and responding to the needs of their communities with the love, care and help of Jesus.

YourNeighbour has identified and curated some of the church-based social action projects across the country who are responding where the need is greatest. Find out more about how we do this and where your money goes.

The churches we’ve identified want to do more. Embedded in the heart of their communities, they are perfectly positioned to do more. They have the infrastructure, the access, and the people prepared to help – all they lack is the financial resource.

That’s why, on April 11th, we’re calling on Christians across the UK to join us in a moment of extraordinary generosity. Imagine what would happen if all 5 million Christians who attend our local churches joined us by giving £20. It would change everything – just think what could be done if, together, we gave £100m to resource and revitalise countless life-changing, church-led projects, initiatives and ministries.

You can support these projects by giving £20:

By giving £20, you could:

  • Help someone get out of debt

  • Equip someone with the confidence, skills and mindset to get into work

  • Help someone find a safe space for support with their mental health

  • Enable someone to access education and therapeutic support when they are in crisis

  • Help pilot a resource with 150 parents and carers facing isolation and loneliness, which can then be rolled out nationally to all churches in the UK

  • Equip 10 churches to recruit and support foster carers in partnership with their local councils

How can I get involved and Give Hope?

Who is YourNeighbour?

Partnered with Stewardship, we are working across all denominations, with charity partners and government to support and fund churches where the needs are greatest.

We are the only organisation that is able to identify and support local churches and their communities solely based on need, and irrespective of any other affiliations.

How the local church is giving hope:

We believe that many local churches are bringing gospel hope to their communities. We want you to be inspired by what local churches are doing to meet practical and spiritual needs during the pandemic. And we want to highlight the needs that far outstrip the resources of many gospel-hearted local churches so you can pray and give to help them Give Hope.

Each week we will focus on a different theme and show how local churches working with partner charities are making a difference.
