Round Tables

Join a roundtable and feed in to the Prime Minister’s review on the community response to COVID-19.

YourNeighbour.org has been asked to coordinate church feedback to the Prime Minister's review on the community response to COVID-19.

You can find more information about the review here.

This is a chance to have your voice heard by government on the following:

  1. How civil society can support the NHS and other public services more effectively.

  2. Local social infrastructure such as libraries, youth clubs and services for older people, and the role of local communities in supporting this infrastructure.

  3. How civil society can help people facing unemployment as a result of the pandemic, especially young people who are new to the labour market.

  4. Public procurement, and how better commissioning of services can strengthen local civil society and improve outcomes.

  5. The role of philanthropy, social investment and business, and what new forms of finance can be used to support communities.

  6. The contribution of faith groups in strengthening social capital and community resilience.

  7. Opportunities for young people.

  8. The opportunities of data and technology to improve the effectiveness of charities and social enterprises, and to enhance collaboration between organisations in the public private.
